Hi all, just thought I'd finally post a look I did a short while ago. I know many are inspired by Callow Lily's drawings which is somewhat prompted this look although I didn't have the right wig so I did with and without. I haven't done a dramatic look like this in quite sometime. I also thought it would be fun to take a photo of myself "before" just to see the difference! As I did once before, I decided to video the swatches as it really gives a more three dimensional look at the colors and the beautiful shimmery sparkle many of them offer!
I actually hadn't initially planned on doing a look but it turned out so nicely, I just had to post it.
Wow. Did I say I found my groove? I think I spoke too soon! Work has taken the lead in my life and therefore, has left much less time to do this than I very much like to, hence my slowness. In any case, I'd like to share with you another great look from KMS Cosmetics! As always, you are able to receive 15% off any order (no minimum) and it may be used more than once with KMS Cosmetics! Just enter this code: SBsparkle (case sensitive). Products used: Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation in Warmed Golden and Natural Beige Coty Air Spun Powder in Honey Beige Milani XL Bronzer KMS White Matte Eye Primer KMS Eyeshadow Pigment in Ice Queen KMS Eyeshadow Pigment in Poolside KMS Eyeshadow Pigment in Dirty Girl KMS Eyeshadow Pigment in Piercing Parlor KMS Eyeshadow Pigment in Fascination KMS Blush in Crushed KMS Lip Glaze in J'Adore Maybelline Color Tattoo in Silver Flash as base Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl Kajal Pencil in Light Blue Jordana Best Lash Extreme Mascara in Black Bobbi Brown Brow Pencil in Wheat Revlon Lashes (I am not sure what Number) After applying KMS eye primer all over my lids and brow bone area, I patted on Maybelline Color Tattoo all over my lids, then applied Ice Queen on Top. I then added Dirty Girl all along my crease taking it up slightly higher as well, then added Piercing Parlor along the crease line and blended it out. I placed Fascination on the outer corners and blended slightly inward and then added Poolside to the inner corners of my eyes to add a nice pop of color. I took Ice Queen again and smudged all along the lower lash line quite freely. Ice Queen truly has an amazing sparkle quality to it- more than I'd remembered. It certainly has a dazzling effect! Fascination is lovely as well because even though it has a plum/brown look to it, the undertones and sparkles are blue and purple which match back beautifully with the other colors I've chosen. I applied the Pencil to the waterline to brighten even more. Again, I have to say that if you are looking for a new go-to nude lip color, J'Adore should be it! I also tried something a bit different this time with the swatches. I normally take photos but as I was trying to catch the last little bit of light before it went down and was noticing how sparkly the swatches were, I videoed as well. I didn't narrate so you'll only hear birds and a plane flying over unfortunately! I just had to do it quickly and didn't have the color names memorized so I'll be interested to know what you think! Enjoy!
Click play below even though it seems to show up as nothing is there, it will play!
So I shall just jump right in as promised with my next KMS look! As always, you are able to receive 15% off any order (no minimum) and it may be used more than once with KMS Cosmetics! It is very Matte and a great base to build sparkle around. I love how this mixture of colors turned out as I wasn't sure where I was going with it, although I don't know that I ever do! Would love for you guys to give Kiss My Sass Cosmetics a go! : )
Work and personal life just got the best of me (and the cold weather hasn't helped!) but I think I am finding my groove again.
My biggest news (at least for me!) is that I was brave enough to have my bangs cut. I don't believe I have ever had bangs like this before so it was definitely new territory. My hair was one length and is half way down my back and I've wanted that length for years so even to take the tiniest bit away was scary but I am so happy I did it!
So, here they are!
I shall be posting a new look from Kiss My Sass Cosmetics in a couple of days. I can't wait to share!
